Welcome to Episode 33 of the Grapplehook podcast.

This week is a rare occurrence with this being a solo episode with Matt taking the reigns! Dan will return next week.

Outriders has had a shaky launch to say the least but seems to be getting worse with players reporting an inventory wiping bug. What's more worrying is the developers response on how they will "kinda" fix it.

Bloomberg released an article shedding some light on Sony Bend, the studio behind Syphon Filter, Uncharted Golden Abyss and Days Gone. Days Gone 2 isn't happening despite it's profitability and Sony Bend has had to put some distance in-between them and Naughty Dog to avoid being assimilated. What's gone on here?
The report goes into more detail with a remake of The Last Of Us reported to be in the works and a Sony that seems to be moving away from unique titles to big blockbuster hits - Is this a step in the right direction for a ever more popular Sony?

Staying on Sony, it looks like they are moving back into the mobile space. Can they find the same level of success as Nintendo have?

A new segment of the show is introduced in this episode as well! The Grapplehook Spotlight is a section dedicated to us and the audience sharing games we feel are under appreciated and more people should check out. Matt shares his first game to be put under the spotlight!
