On June 24th, 2007, Chris Benoit failed to appear at a WWE Pay Per View event he was scheduled to perform at telling fellow co workers his wife and child were sick. At the next day's TV event, he still hadn't showed up and nobody heard from him in over 24 hours. That day, three bodies were found in his home which was confirmed to be that of him and his wife and child. What was initially thought of as an untimely tragedy soon turned into to something horrific and unimaginable as the news progressed to what actually occurred over that fateful weekend.
