Professor Dorthe Dahl-Jensen fra Niels Bohr Institutet på Københavns Universitet modtager den prestigefyldte "Frontiers of Knowledge" pris. Dorthe er blandt 5 europæiske pionerer, som modtager prisen for opdagelsen af den utvetydige forbindelse der er mellem drivhusgasser i atmosfæren og globale temperaturstigninger. Hendes arbejde har vist, at det nuværende CO2-niveau i atmosfæren er højere end på noget tidspunkt de sidste 800.000 år.
