I’d say I wasn’t going to drink, and then after a long stressful day in my high-demand job, I’d end up drinking wine while making dinner for my family. It was never just one glass. It would always be two or 3 and I wouldn’t sleep well and I would wake up feeling tired, only to do it all over again the next night. This cycle went on and on for years. I just felt stuck. Then I learned why I was over drinking.
