Busy mum (as you will hear in this great recording) and self-confessed 'Mrs Angry', Nina Jeffries decided to become a local councillor to make a difference in her community in Teignmouth.

Here, she talks to the A-I-R Team about politics in general, disability issues and the need for younger people to get involved in local political processes. She touches on education, the future of South Devon and dog poo (but not literally!).

New to the political world, Nina is refreshingly keen, community-focused and clearly well-intentioned."We're more and more just allowing a few people to shape our future, and it shouldn't be like that," says Nina who is Portfolio Holder for Business, Economy & Tourism with the Liberal Democrats.
