For this episode of The All-Around Adventure Podcast, I'm joined by martial artist and YouTuber, Grant Stevens.
Grant began his journey as a martial artist at a young age. During which he began training in Wing Chun as well as in Tae Kwon Do. Though later on he would seek other styles in order to expand his skillset. And he began incorporating boxing and acrobatics into his practice. Throughout his journey as a martial artist, Grant faced many physical and mental challenges. And has learned a lot a valuable life lessons. Now he's taking what he's learned and uploading videos on martial arts philosophy, physical training, and mindset strategies to his YouTube channel.
In this episode, Grant tells us about what led him down the path of martial arts and how it's influenced his personal growth. He also shares his insights on discipline, consistency, diet, and training to maximize performance both in the martial arts and in life. Even if you're traveling or only have access to minimal resources. Furthermore, we discuss the importance of showing up in the world as your own authentic self regardless of how haters and naysayers might feel about it.
