In this trip down memory lane I speak with my friend from High School. Josh Wadlington, originally born in Elkhart had moved away ended up coming back as a freshman. He was different to say the least. Most of the people in school made fun of him. Called him Satan. I was intrigued and made friends.
I had a blast with Josh the short time he was in Elkhart. The last time I saw him was the summer before Senior year. He had been working a job and dating a girl who had a locker next to mine. They were both young. dumb and craving adventure.
Josh and "the girl" saved up a bunch of money, stole a car and got out of Elkhart.
They were on the run for several weeks before being taken into custody. That year when school started Josh wasn't there.
I want to hear more stories from my delightful little home town.
