2023-Year in Review

Evans, Fite, Dillingham, Zaby and more left us with wisdom to build careers on. Here’s a look back at all the brilliance!

NOV - Practicing Gratefulness with Amberly Lago
Recovering from a near fatal accident and 34 surgeries to save her leg from amputation, Amberly brought us a message of hope and strength and courage. She is the author of True Grit and Grace and teaches others how to practice gratitude in the face of tragedy.

OCT - Michael Pyburn - The New Updates To The PalmAgent Real Estate App
Michael joined us to talk about the new real estate app PalmAgent and the white label edition of the app that Secured Title uses that includes calculators and a social media content creator. This sparked our conversation about the challenges of personal marketing in a ever increasing marketing climate.

SEPT - A look at Luxury with Susan Redding of Keller Williams
We had a great discussion with Susan about luxury branding at Keller Williams. We received an INSIDERS look into the luxury market here in DFW and how working with luxury clients takes a different skill set.  Sandy spilled the beans on working with CHATgpt and how to utilize it in your own marketing.

AUG - Success Through a Recession with Jim Fite
One of the greats joined us, Jim Fite, friend and mentor, to talk about his new book, Success Through a Recession. Jim’s wit and wisdom is super inspiring especially as he talks about the ups and downs of building Judge Fite Realtors into a #1 CENTURY 21 franchise. It’s always good to catch up to our old friends and colleagues in the industry!

JULY - Kelli and Andre Kocher of the KW Kocher Team
Runners, fitness fanatics, financial gurus and followers of Dave Ramsey, our conversation and fun with the Kocher’s was all over the place. We loved their energy and enthusiasm for living a life of real estate and fitness.

JUNE - 6-Month Checkup
Dick Dillingham, Pat Zaby, owner, InTouch Systems; and Mike Parker of Huff Realty in Florence Kentucky, joined us for an impromptu forum loaded with info, tips, resources, and inspiration for building and marketing your business over the next 6 months. We had a lot of fun with these guys, and believe me they were full of great INSIDER tips! So much Sandy took her notes and turned them into a 6-month guide for marketing, you can read it on her blog at: https://sandyhibbardcreative.com/six-...

MAY - Ayla Reed, Farm and Ranch expert
Always good to take a peek at the country side of things! We had fun learning from Ayla how luxury farm and ranch works right here in the Metroplex, definitely an INSIDERS view on how marketing works in this corner of the market.

APRIL - Shana Acquisto, Broker and Co-Owner of Acquisto Real Estate and 2023 Collin County Association of REALTORS® (CCAR) President.
Another leader in the industry joins us to give us an INSIDERS view on the Collin County real estate market. Shana is hands on in her job and runs her own brokerage as well. There was a wealth of info and INSIDERS tips on running your own brokerage on this show.

MAR - Denise Ackerman, Transformational Business and Life Coach
It was great to have a life coach come in to set us all straight for the next quarter this year!  Denise was lovely and gave us some great insight into finding your “why”, your passion and reason for doing business. Once you understand that, you can build a dynamic marketing and business plan that will help you soar!  LOVE IT!

FEB - Black History Month with Ben Baker of the Ben Baker Team of Keller Williams
Ben and I go way back -  I first met him in 2005 when I was doing the Marketing Round Table for Prime Lending. Ben Baker became a part of the group that met months to strategize and create great marketing initiatives for the month. His rise to fame in the real estate industry here in DFW has been steady since then. We talked to Ben about minority homeownership in Texas and what Black History Month means to him.

JAN - Candace Evans of Candy's Dirt joins the INSIDERS to "dish the dirt" on Dallas Real Estate
We stated the year with the Queen of dirt herself, Candace Evans of Candy’s Dirt. She’s a hoot and she did dish the dirt a bit on Dallas real estate, but what was interesting was Candy’s take on marketing real estate listings. She brought a fresh new insight to what agents need to do to get their listings “noticed”.  Loved this show!
