#9 Orwellian Days

Are we at the threshold of fascism? And if so, is there a way out, and enough time to save the environment, reclaim self-government, restore communities and protect human rights? Maybe. But we already know that it’s been coming for a while. Like a castaway in a sci fi novel, Greg was once transported to such an Orwellian future and lived to tell the tale. In this episode, he recreates the experience, and looks at the real and present danger that concepts like freedom and equality will be distorted by an updated Newspeak, a Trumpian version promoted by the administration and its allies through their minions and media.
