“What happened did change the trajectory of my life,” Millwee told SiriusXM host Alex Marlow. “I left a really great job I got at the age of 19, and was forced to leave because of what happened. I chose to leave, to get away from Clinton.”
“I’ve had a very successful career in pharmaceuticals,” she added. “I now work, for about the last five years, for a nonprofit for breast cancer awareness. So I’ve done quite well. I did not stay as a reporter, like I said, mostly because of the way things kind of played out, and I had to get away from Bill Clinton. But I’m doing great. I didn’t let that define who I am or what I am. I’ve been married to my husband for almost 35 years. For me, I’m very fortunate I was able to overcome that.”
