Gail Hudson, 2020 Nevada Teacher of the Year, is a National Board Certified Teacher with 32-years of instructional leadership experience. Currently a fifth-grade teacher at John R. Hummel Elementary with Clark County School District in Nevada, Hudson trains for the district Equity and Diversity Department; facilitating at district, state, and national levels. She leads as a facilitator for Nevada National Board Professional Learning Institute: Empowering Teachers as Leaders & Learners. Additionally, Hudson is a founding member of the inaugural National Board Network of Accomplished Minoritized Educators (@NBCTNAME):
