How do you find hope among chaos?

In the evening of August 4, 2020, the Lebanese capital, Beirut, suffered a deadly explosion that killed or displaced many people during an ongoing global medical pandemic. For the final episode of Season 1, we connect with our friends Youmna and Michelle to talk about how they experienced the blast and what they did in order to help clean up the city with other young people.

Youmna is a Political Science student, currently writing her Master's thesis on operating reforms within the Lebanese system. She's part of the Youth for a United World.

Michelle is a civil engineering student who likes to keep her life busy with non-engineering activities. Also a part of the Youth for a United World. Despite all the conflicts going on in her country, she was born and raised in Lebanon and is still living and believing in her country.
