This time on the TX Podcast we have a superb guest, Llewelyn Morgan, Head of Innovation at Oxfordshire County Council. Llewelyn is part of a team developing POCs and experiments as well as policies around innovative technologies such as drones and connected autonomous vehicles.

Together with Oxford university, they are working to bridge learning and innovation that happens in different sectors and facilitate crossovers that could lead to new business and solutions to major problems in transport, health, energy, and the social sector.

Using Oxfordshire as a living laboratory, their work is envisioning what the future might look like and designing how to have the necessary frameworks in place to ensure those futures play out in positive ways. One of their exciting projects is to utilise drones to deliver medicines supplies into rural areas during Covid-19.

We discuss these exciting projects and their outcomes, and how counties can benefit from Web 3 technologies and real-time data to create better infrastructure and services for citizens.

In the TX Podcast series, we dive into web 3 technologies and their role in the emergence of data economies with guests from some of the most forward-thinking companies from around the world. We talk about innovative ways of engineering value from data and the next generation of internet technologies including blockchain, decentralisation, AI and machine learning.
