-What was I eating to increase energy that was actually draining my energy?
-Sugar is part of the carbohydrate continuum
-When we remove sugar, we remove inflammation
-Sugar is biologically addictive
-Read labels, because added sugar can be in anything!
-Cutting calories is NOT the only answer!
-Removing sugar can lead to increased energy, balance of hormones and emotions, and increased mental clarity
-View breaking the sugar cycle as an experiment - be willing to at least try
-Eating sugar along with protein will slow the release of insulin
-The order of foods is important for how your body processes them
-Never have sugar on an empty stomach
-Recognize that it’s not your willpower that’s the problem. Don’t beat yourself up!
