After hearing this for most of my reproductive years, I reached a point where I gave up on traditional medicine. I avoided talking about what was bothering me during my annual exams. I pushed away people who were the closest to the issue. Once I relocated to SoCal, however, I had no choice but to see a doctor because the symptoms had gotten worse as the year progressed. Without going into too many details, I would learn that my symptoms were probably a result of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Wow! I finally got an answer and found relief in an instant. Now, I can make informed choices to improve my life!
